In these beautiful hot days of summer the garden is producing a vast amount of berries and in the kitchen we are busy with jam making. While the pots are bubbling away, the temperature is rising and the need for something cool make us reach for the ice-cream tubs. A few scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with a generous amount of scalding berry jam does the trick. Simply delicious!
You can also have your ice cream ‘affogato’ (drowned) with a small cup of freshly made espresso coffee.
